The J1939 Add-in is used to communicate on a CAN bus in utility vehicles to transmit control information and diagnostics data. This add-in supports all SAE J1939 standard network protocol parameter groups and definitions, using 29-bit CAN IDs (CAN 2.0B Extended Frame).
This add-in to PCAN Explorer 6 also provides a simple means of accessing the parameters. A database with all the definitions and parameters is supplied. The database may only be used with the PCAN-Explorer and J1939 Add-in.
